Step 1: Download, Install, and Run the Software
You can select the free trial version, but we recommend the full version since it will let you explore and enjoy all the features and benefits of the program. Drag the downloaded file to 'Applications' then you can launch it once it's successfully installed.
Step 2: Download ARD Mediathek Video
Visit ARD with Safari, Firefox or Chrome and find the video that you want to download and start streaming. The video will be detected on the web page, and a “Download” button will appear at the top left corner of your screen. There are three ways to download videos from ARD.
a. Click on the “Download” button.
b. Drag the video URL to the software’s dock icon from the address bar.
c. Copy ARD Mediathek video page and then click “Paste URL” button in the main window and the video will be captured immediately.
